Baba Rafi inks deal with Transcom Beverage
World renowned kebab chain Baba-Rafi, Bangladesh has signed an agreement with Transcom Beverage Ltd to expedite its operation in Bangladesh.
With this agreement, Transcom Beverage will provide all kinds of Pepsi brand’s soft drinks and drinking water in the Baba Rafi’s outlets.
Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Bashundhara Group and Khurshid Irfan Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director of Transcom Beverages signed the agreement on behalf of their respective groups at a programme held at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-2 in the capital.
Mohammad Abu Tayeb, Advisor (Press and Media) of Bashundhara Group and Delwar Hossain, Head of Department (human resources) of the Bashundhara Group were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Mostafizur Rahman said they are going to open three outlets of Baba Rafi in Dhaka at the end of this month. They have also plan of spreading Baba-Rafi across the country.
It will be great pair towards this journey with Transcom Beverage. Baba-Rafi and Transcom will provide best food to the local food lovers, he added.
Khurshid Irafn said that Transcom Beverage’s products like drinking water, soft drinks are very popular in the country’s five star hotels, mega restaurants and across the country as well. It is a pleasure to be added with Baba Rafi which is a venture of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group.
Globally recognised Indonesian food chain Kebab Turki Baba Rafi operates 1200 outlets in many countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, China, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands.

Among others, Transcom Beverage Marketing Manager Arifur Rahman, Accounts Manager Ram Krishna Banarjee and officials of Bashundhara Group were also present at the signing ceremony.
