Bashundhara City has been awarded Worlds Prestigious UK based SUPERBRAND Award 2009 that is popularly known as the Oscar of the branding world. TIM Latiful Husain, Adviser (Tech) to The Chairman and In-charge Bashundhara City Development Ltd. of Bashundhara Group received this award in a simple ceremony at Seminar Hall of Bashundhara City in Dhaka today.
Abed Khan, Editor, The Daily Kalaer Kantha was present as Chief guest. Among others Lt. Colonel Khondokar Abdul Wahed (Retd.) Director (Co-ordination), East West Media Group Ltd., Azam Khan, Adviser to The Chairman of Bashundhara Group, Md. Shamduddin Ahmed, Sr. Executive Director, Bashundhara Group, Major Kamrul Mehedi, PSC, MBA, Sr. General Manager (Administration & Security), Bashundhara City Development Ltd. and other high official of Bashundhara Group and representatives of SUPERBRAND Bangladesh were present in the occasion.
In his speech as Chief guest Abed Khan Said, “ Bashundhara City has undoubtedly open a new horizon for the socio-economic development in Bangladesh.” “Winning SUPERBRAND award 2009 proves Bashundhara City’s excellence in each and every aspects of its formation.
After handing over the award, Mohammad Wasfi Tamim, Marketing Manager, SUPERBRAND responded by saying, “it was a very well thought and well judge decision and they are very happy to be able to give the right award to the most deserving organization”.
