Bashundhara Kings to clash with New Radiant in friendly today

Bashundhara Kings are all set to face New Radiant Sports Club of Maldives in the all-important friendly match at Bashundhara Kings’ home venue Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari today.
The match will start at 03:30pm while the gates will be open from 12:00am.
With this encounter, Bashundhara Kings will be able to test the edge of their high profile attacking unit consisting of Costa Rican forward Daniel Colindres who is coming off a dream-run in FIFA World Cup 2018. Haiti national team player Kervens Fils Belfort and Benjamin Estema and Afghan booter Ma Sa will assist the attacking unit of the Kings.
Bashundhara Kings recently appointed Spaniard Oscar Bruzon as their head coach who earlier served as the head coach for New Radiant.
Jam-packed stands are expected as Bashundhara Kings home venue has appeared as the heartland of Bangladesh football’s revival.
Domestic football superstars Emon Babu, Mamun Ali, Sohanur Rahman, Mannaf Rabby, Krishna Kumar, Shoaib, Rakibul Hasan Tushar, Hemonto Vincent Biswas, Didarul Haque, Salahuddin, Towhidul Alam Sabuj, Nurul Nayeem Faisal and Mohammad Ibrahim will provide Kings the strong base to incorporate their fierce forwards.
As upcoming giants, sub-continental football powerhouse New Radiant are the worthy opponents for Bashundhara Kings.
New Radiant landed in Bangladesh on September 18. After taking part in the friendly match against Bashundhara Kings on September 21, they will fly back to Maldives on September 22.
New Radiant has won all domestic competitions being held in the Maldives and the club is the most successful in the Maldives in terms of trophies won and is also the most successful Maldivian club in the international arena. They were semi-finalists in the AFC Cup in 2005 and the only Maldivian club to have progressed beyond group stages in the AFC cup in multiple occasions.
