Bashundhara LP Gas conducts safety campaign in Noakhali
Around 100 housewives of the district participated in the campaign which was intended to raise awareness about the proper use of gas cylinder. Popular actress Dipa Khondokar attended the programme as the chief guest.
A safety workshop was held in the first session of the campaign moderated by Mir TI Faruk Rizvi, Head of Division (Sales) of Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd.Speaking on the occasion, he said, “LP gas cylinder is a familiar product nowadays. It is being used as a major source of energy for cooking food in residential houses, hotels, restaurants and other places.
“Its use is simple although some accidents take place due to the wrong use of the gas cylinder. Therefore, we have long been conducting safety campaigns all over the country to make people aware about the safety module and utility.”
Expressing concern over the substandard cylinders at the market, he said people should be careful of the quality of the product to avert accidents.
Bashundhara LP gas cylinders go through a series of laboratory test to ensure its quality and reliability, he added.
Dipa Khondokar lauded the BLPGL for running safety campaigns around the country.
High-ranking officials of sales and activation team of Bashundhara LP gas, local distributors and eminent citizens were present on the occasion.The safety campaign was followed by a raffle draw and distribution of prizes.
