Bashundhara LP Gas safety campaign held in city

Bashundhara LP Gas, a concern of country’s leading industrial establishment Bashundhara Group, on Sunday arranged a workshop for housewives as part of its fourth round nationwide awareness campaign titled ‘Nirapad Nibash’.
A total of 250 homemakers took part in the day-long workshop held at the capital’s International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
Head of Division, Sales Mir TI Faruk Rijvy of the Bashundhara LP Gas Limited conducted the workshop, where eminent film actress Popy, film star Riaz and actress Dipa Khondokar attended as guests.
The sole objective of the campaign is to ensure easy and safe use of LP Gas across households of its users, and equipping them with the knowledge to avert any hazardous scenarios.
Addressing the workshop, Faruk Rijvy said that Bangladesh’s No. 1 LP gas brand Bashundhara LP Gas is organising such workshops from corporate responsibility.
He informed through the workshop that the campaign successfully ran workshops across 41 districts of the country, which includes Naogaon, Gaibandha, Chapainawabganj, Rajshahi, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Jessore, Gazipur, Mirpur, Savar, Keraniganj and Narayanjganj.
He further stated, “Bashundhara LP Gas Limited produces and markets safe cylinders after proper laboratory tests and maintaining standards as compared to that of competitors.”
Lauding the initiative, actress Popy said, “This type of initiatives for women is really appreciable, housewives’ spontaneous participation represents the effectiveness of this workshop. I have been supporting the campaign from the very start.”
Deepa Khandker said, “It is very easy to use LPG gas, as we can know through this workshop, and can equip ourselves with the knowledge to avert or tackle hazards.”
Riaz said, “I am very happy to be part of such awareness capmaigns. Bashundhara LP Gas is doing so much to ensure safe residences, safeguarding family members and creating awareness. This workshop really inspires us all to be more aware of the use of LP gas and to create a safe environment, by keeping everyone in the family safe.”
Bashundhara Group Executive Director and EWPD, BCDL and ICCB Manpower Chief Captain (retd) Sheikh Ehsan Reza, Bashundhara LP Gas’s Head of Accounts and Finance Mahbub Alam, Head of Marketing MM Jasim Uddin, Head of Supply Chain Abdus Shukur , GM Zakaria Jalal of Strategic Planning and Business Development, Audit Division GM Salim Rejasa and other senior officials, local distributors of Bashundhara Group were present at the workshop.
