Bashundhara LP Gas safety campaign held
The company has started its fourth round of nationwide awareness and safety campaign recently. Such campaigns will be conducted in all parts of the country gradually to raise awareness about the proper use of LP gas to avert any untoward accident.
At the workshop at Rose View Restaurant in Dohar, Mir Tarikul Islam Faruk Rizvy, Head of Division, Sales, Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd, was present as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “LP gas is a very easy-to-use fuel. But we all should be careful about the quality of LP gas cylinder.
Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd has marketed safe cylinders after proper laboratory test.”
He said Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd holds such events throughout the country every year out of its corporate social responsibility. They have already held such programmes in 30 districts, he added.
Actress Dipa Khandakar, who was also present, lauded Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd for arranging such programmes.
She said it is necessary for housewives to know about the use of cylinders safely. She also expressed satisfaction over the spontaneous participation of women and others concerned in the campaign. About 100 housewives took part in the campaign.
Senior officials of the sales and activation team of Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd, its local distributors and eminent persons were present on the occasion. The campaign was followed by a raffle draw and entertainment.
