Gutted portion of Bashundhara City reopens
The authorities of Bashundhara City, the largest shopping mall in the South Asia, handed over shops which were gutted in a fire at C block on level 6 to businessmen of the market after renovation.
The handover ceremony was held at the shopping mall in Panthapath in the capital on Wednesday.
A milad mahfil was arranged on the occasion.
Executive director (accounts and finance) and in-charge of Bashundhara City Development Ltd (BCDL) Sheikh Abdul Alim, executive director (mechanical) Mahbub Morshed, additional chief engineer (civil) Md Mahbubur Rahman and general manger (admin) Habibur Rahman Chowdhury were present.
Businessmen and sales representatives of the mall attended the ceremony.
It may be mentioned that on 21 August 2016 almost all shops at the block of level six were damaged in the fire.
