Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited, a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, has marketed Bashundhara brand of tissue in newly designed boxes and packets suitable for use on different occasions.
Bashundhara Group Director Yeasha Sobhan unveiled the newly designed products at a press conference at Industrial Headquarters-2 of the Group at Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, she said around 25 newly designed products are now on the market while 25 others are in the pipeline.
The company has marketed tissue in mini packets which are convenient to be used and hygienic for babies and students of schools and colleges, she added.
She said: “Some babies can be sensitive to chemical. If sufficient hygienic tissue is not used for them, it can cause allergy and other problems on their bodies. Considering it, Bashundhara has marketed tissue specially designed for the babies.
“New packets have been designed with the theme of International Mother Language Day, Pahela Baishakh, Victory Day, Independence Day, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. Many tissue packets have various kinds of emojis used in the social media on them.”
She stated that tissue papers have been marketed in travel packs suitable for use by people during their travel.The company has marketed tissue papers in different packs which have already gained popularity, she said, adding that there are some attractive packs, including fruit series, which are also available on the market.
Md Towfique Hasan, general manager (marketing and business development), Shamsuddoha Safayat, manager (brand), tissue, and other high-ranking officials of the company were present at the event.
