Bangladesh Pratidin Celebrates its 13th Founding Anniversary

Bangladesh Pratidin, the country’s highest circulated Bengali daily, celebrated its 13th founding anniversary by organising various programmes on Sunday.   

Marking the day, the daily arranged a cultural function at Noboratri hall of International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital.

Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir inaugurated the function by cutting a cake.

He also unwrapped a special cover of the founding anniversary programme.

Eminent citizens, including professionals, politicians, businessmen, artists and journalists, joined the function and greeted him with bouquets.

Attending the function, ruling Awami League presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak on behalf of the party greeted all the members of Bangladesh Pratidin.

“Bangladesh Pratidin has been the highest circulated newspaper in the country. It has added a new dimension to newspaper arena of the country,” he said.

Noted actor Shakib Khan thanked the newspaper for unearthing many hidden truths.

“People love the Bangladesh Pratidin. Let the love continue for years,” he said.
