Bashundhara Shuvosangho Supports Students in Rebuilding Bangladesh

Bashundhara Shuvosangho members have joined forces with students to clean up cities in the aftermath of the Sheikh Hasina regime’s ouster, driven by a student-led mass protest.

The situation had left the streets without traffic police, and garbage accumulated on roads and in public spaces. Both government and private offices were paralysed due to employee absences. As the youth take the lead in rebuilding Bangladesh, they are stepping up in various roles – from traffic control to waste management and wall painting – showcasing their creativity through art. The students are working tirelessly to create a more beautiful and positive Bangladesh, with Bashundhara Shuvosangho members actively participating in these efforts nationwide.

Bashundhara Cement and Bashundhara Tissue are supporting the students by providing essential supplies, including umbrellas, bags, brooms, paint, and gloves to protect them from the sun, and rain, and to assist with graffiti and cleaning efforts. Shuvosangho members are also providing meals, such as breakfast and lunch, to sustain the students throughout their work.

This week’s edition features the work of Shuvosangho members from all over the country.
