Bashundhara LP Gas now World LPG Association Member

Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd (BLPGL), a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, received World LPG Association membership in July. High officials of BLPGL presented the certification to Bashundhara Group Vice-Chairman Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir on Thursday. Being the market leader in LPG sector, Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd has planned to invest around $200 million further to strengthen its cylinder manufacturing capacity and robust cylinder bottling filling terminal in Dhaka. The investment aims at meeting the growing demand for LPG in the future. The membership has put BLPGL on par with world LPG stakeholders and given it international recognition. After receiving the international recognition, Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd has renewed its commitment to serve the local LPG market as per the global standard. Mahbub Alam, Head of Finance, Abdus Sukkur, Head of Supply Chain, TI Faruk Rizvy, Head of Sales, Atiquzzaman, Head of HR and Engr Md Jakaria Jalal, DGM, Business, Operations & Planning attended the event. Bashundhara Group Vice-Chairman Shafiat Sobhan expressed satisfaction with the performance of BLPGL. He called upon all officials concerned to get ready for catering to the demand of the customers. He also expressed the determination that BLPGL will continue to lead the market by holding the top position in terms of both quality and service.
