Bashundhara LP Gas, Paper get Superbrands award

Bashundhara LP Gas Limited and Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited, two major concerns of Bashundhara Group, have won Superbrands award.

Bashundhara Group Director Yeasha Sobhan received the award at a gala ceremony at Radisson hotel in the capital on Saturday.

Expressing her reaction to winning the Superbrands award, the Bashundhara Group director said the country was largely dependent on imported paper when Bashundhara Paper started its journey in 1993.

She said Bashundhara Paper brand has earned the trust of people over the last 25 years. “It is an achievement well deserved by the Bashundhara Paper. The credit also goes to our consumers, well-wishers and business partners,” she added.

Former adviser to a caretaker government Gitiara Safia Chowdhury, Jagannath University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman and Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Executive Chairman Kazi M Aminul Islam were present at the award-giving ceremony.
