EWMGL Becomes Media Partner of Rangpur Riders

East West Media Group Limited (EWMGL) has become the official media partner of Rangpur Riders on Thursday for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) tournament.

The agreement was signed at a gala ceremony at the EWMGL conference room in Bashundhara Residential Area of the capital.

Rangpur Riders Chief Executive Officer Ishtiaque Sadeque and Bashundhara Group Treasurer and Publisher of the newspapers of EWMGL Maynal Hossain Chowdhury signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Vice-Chairman-1 Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir and Vice-Chairman-2 and Rangpur Riders Managing Director Safwan Sobhan Tasvir were present at the function.

Bangladesh Pratidin Editor, NEWS24 CEO and Radio Capital CEO Naem Nizam, Banglanews24.com Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain, Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury and Executive Editor Shiabur Rahman, Kaler Kantho Editor Imdadul Haque Milon and Executive Editor Mostafa Kamal, NEWS24 Executive Director (Operations) Hasnain Khorshed, Bashundhara Group Media Adviser Mohammad Abu Tayeb and Adviser (PR) and AHR Head Lt Col (Retd) Khandaker Abdul Wahed, Rangpur Riders Managing Director Md Jabed Iqbal and Bashundhara Group officials were also present.

The BPL tournament is scheduled to begin on November 3 in Sylhet.

Speaking on the occasion, Imdadul Haque Milon said: “The contract signing is taking place between two brothers. We can call it a brother’s pact.”

“It is an unprecedented and exceptional event in Bangladesh. We are so glad to be present here. We believe Rangpur Riders is one of our organisations,” he added.

“We are working together as the East West Media Group Ltd is the country’s largest media outlet and a concern of Bashundhara Group. We convey our heartfelt congratulation to Rangpur Riders. We are with Rangpur,” he concluded.

Ishtiaque Sadeque said: “We worked hard in the last four or five months to make a strong team for BPL. Now we are pleased by assembling a strong team.

We are very glad to get the EWMG as our media partner.”

“I hope Rangpur Riders will appear as a dark horse in the forthcoming BPL tournament,” he added.

Besides, the signing of a contract between Rangpur Riders and online cricketing news portal bdcrictime.com was held at the conference room of the daily sun.

Rangpur Riders Managing Director Md Jabed Iqbal and bdcrictime.com CEO and Founder Md Jabed Ali made the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
