Monalisa Women’s Club organised the seminar at Customs Academy Laboratory High School in the Pahartali area.

Doctor Fahmida Akter put up different aspects of the menstrual hygiene at the seminar moderated by Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited Manager (Brand) Hygiene Products Silvia Jahangir.
The paper mills Assistant General Manager Sajjadul Islam was also present at the seminar among others.
In her speech Dr Fahmida said, “We know many things about different limbs of our body, but we also don’t know many things.”
“We should know the unknown facts to stay well,” she said.
Monalisa Women’s Club is a platform where women can find path of sharing their thoughts with each other, said Fahmida.
The doctor said the club is holding seminars in different schools and colleges of the country in a bid to create awareness among women regarding menstrual health and hygiene on behalf of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group.
It is informed at the seminar that ‘Monalisa Sanitary Napkin’ is very familiar brand in the market for managing women health and hygiene since 2004.
All members of the club are women and it helps them to communicate comfortably and participate in any work actively.
Asked about organising such seminar, the school Headmistress Marry Dutta lauded the initiative and thanked the organisers for arranging such programme at her school.
Putting importance of the seminar, Marry observed that it will be fruitful as female students can’t share their personal problems with their mothers always due to lack of proper atmosphere.
The students shared their different problems with the physician at the seminar. Dr Fahmida also answered their questions.
Later, free registration of Monalisa Women’s Club was held and new packet of Monalisa Sanitary Napkin was distributed among the participants.
