Bashundhara donation helps Swarna see again

To ignite the light of enlightenment every nation needs to let its children bloom. The blindness of the little angels abstain the nation from its growth. Baby Swarna, a five year old girl, is facing the threat of blindness as her poor father is unable to bear the expenses of her treatment. At that moment Bashundhara Foundation, an organization of the Bashundhara Group has come forward to help him by shouldering expenses of the operation. Swarna was taken to the eye specialist when she informed her parents of pain in her eyes. After successive investigation the ophthalmologist referred for immediate operation in her eyes that would cost more than Tk.100000. Md. Hossain lost all hopes when the cost of the operation was announced. Having no source of money he started seeking help from the able people of the society. When the Hon’ble Chairman of the Bashundhara Group Ahmed Akbar Sobhan came to know about the condition of the sweet little girl he immediately took the medication responsibilities of her. The Sr. Executive Director (A & F) Moynal Hossain Chowdhury handed over the cheque to Md. Hossain on behalf of the Chairman of the Bashundhara Group. Bashundhara Group has always been there for the helpless people. Out of corporate social responsibility Bashundhara Group has created the Bashundhara Foundation to help the poor and helpless people.
