EWMGL MD Sayem Sobhan Anvir made life member

Managing Director of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group and East West Media Group Sayem Sobhan Anvir has been made an honorary life member of the America-Bangladesh Press Club.
The club officials conferred the membership on Sayem Sobhan Anvir during a view-exchange meeting at a luxurious restaurant at Time Warner Cable Building at Columbus Circle, Manhattan, New York, on October 9.
In his speech, East West Media Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir said, “I am extremely delighted to know that Bangladeshi journalists have set up a press club in New York. The activities of Bangla media are also expanding abroad. The America-Bangladesh Press Club can play a significant role in forging a link between Bangladesh and the media outside. I congratulate all, including the officials of the America-Bangladesh Press Club.”
Sayem Sobhan Anvir also assured the press club of extending cooperation to its constructive activities.
At the event, America-Bangladesh Press Club president Nazmul Ahsan, general secretary Darpan Kabir, executive member and editor of the Thikana Lablu Ansar and ATN Bangla correspondent Kanu Dutta handed over the life membership crest to East West Media Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir. Editor of Bangladesh Pratidin Naem Nizam was also present.
